Hey everyone,
I don't now about you but boy the caffeine has been a lifesaver this week. I'm living on vanilla coke, chai latte's, and Allen's Strawberries and creams, oh what a god send! Interesting how when I was little I hated them but know they're my best friend, but that's a story for another time.
So in reviewing some feedback from some helpful people, I realised I probably hadn't given
you enough background information on my company Rakon.
So who is Rakon?
Rakon is known as one of the world’s largest manufacturers of frequency control products and timing solutions. Founded in New Zealand, the company has been operating for a significant 54 years, with a current 950 + employees representing 4o nationalities. Rakon has 6 research and development centres around the globe. This includes manufacturing operations now located in New Zealand, United Kingdom, France, India and China. To support their customers, as this is one of their key values, they have also set up 16 worldwide support locations. Brent Robison, who has just stepped down from his role of CEO, is the son of founder Warren Robinson. He mentions in an interview the company was originally set up to address the telecommunications market in the late 1960s. A key statement mentioned by Engineer Michael McIIroy is that “Rakon is successful because it wants to be successful.”
